St. Catherine's School first opened it's doors in September of 1959. We are an ELP-9 school with 182 students. Our ELP program was established in 2005 and has been growing steadily ever since.
At St. Catherine's School visitors will witness a sense of community amongst the staff and students that mirrors the closeness that is experienced in our small town. Students interact with one another from all grades, and it is not uncommon to see a Gr. 9 student giving a high five to a Kindergarten child as they pass one another in the hallway.
At St. Catherine's we take advantage of opportunities to work collaboratively amongst the various grades. We also gather together as a large group for our monthly assemblies and frequent religious celebrations.
This is a building where we aim to encourage, support and accept all of our students, staff, and families. We value the benefits of working together as a school community, and we aim for best teaching practices and learning opportunities.
St. Catherine's School Vision Statement

together to achieve each individual's potential.
We will encourage, support, and accept all as we progress on our personal, academic
